My name is Jenny Merriman and I am an artist, crafter, and have an AAS degree in E-business. My goal has been to incorporate my love of art with my interest and skills in business.
I have been an artist all my life. I started off creating things for myself and then for family and friends. Along the way selling various pictures, necklaces, and whatever else I seemed to be up to at the time. I showed my work in two gallery shows on the First Friday Artwalk in Eugene in 2002 and 2003. I was a screen printer for 4 years and a studio artist.
I enjoy creating with the computer. I create Web sites for businesses and individuals. I see the computer as a why to help others get their art out into the world.
My canvas paintings and other medium work has always been my little escape from life and all the images are inspired by all the things within and around me.
I started making soaps as a solution to some of my family members having reactions to store bought soap. Over the years I have developed a lavender soap that we enjoy. I started sharing this soap by selling it in craft shows and in salons in 2003.
I have met many artists and crafters with dreams of doing something more with their creativity. I decided to expand on my original idea of a small e-commerce site to a site for multiple artists and crafters where we could all exhibit and sell our creations.
I am on a quest of life long learning and have developed this site as an outlet for sharing creativity, beauty, and wonderful crafters and artists. I hope there is opportunity for everyone to find a creative solution to what ever they need.
